First Mammogram Biopsy

Hello ladies,

I had my first biopsy done today in my right breast. It was a bit painful like sharp then it was fine. I am told I will get a call with results in a weeks time. It's just been 5 hours my breast is really sore and when I trying to rest in bed it's hard to sleep on right side. My breast feels heavy n painful. I have had paracetamol. A few years back I had colon cancer. To ease the pain what should I do? My breast is swollen as well.

Hi there,
ooooo those biopsies were so painful for me, but weird because the pain is over so quickly, I had three done also at the bottom right side of my right breast. The pain will be gone soon, not much you can do other than the paracetamol and try not sleep on that side, if you do put a really comfy soft pillow just under the right breast and sort of hug the pillow with your left arm, don't raise the left arm towards the head, just lean it gently over the torso area.

Meant to say, really strange I had bowel cancer too some years ago, and here we both are with a right breast issue, well mines been and gone, but you know what I mean

Hi my lovely,
Thank you for replying my post. My breast is so sore and painful. It is very swollen and it's become purple and blue. After Nowell cancer and chemotherapy I have become very sensitive and my confidence levels low. I am not strong like before. I panics a lot. I get anxiety a lot.
