Hi, could anyone please take the time to explain night sweats to me?

I've read that they're drenching as in it would involve the whole body?

I've a couple of swollen lymph nodes that are being scanned on Tuesday. I'm aware they're most like to be reactive and nothing to worry about.

I've not really been getting any symptoms other than I get heavily tired (my folic acid is very low so that explains) so this reinforces my belief that I'll be okay.

The thing is I've been waking up HOT with sweat running down my face and neck and my hair damp. It doesn't seem to be anywhere else on my body though. I want to know if it's anything worth bringing up since its only from the neck up
