I realise no one here can give me answers, that will only be through test results but I wonder if anyone has had any similar experience.
Middle of June I had blood in my poo - blood tests showed raised LFTs and stool sample was clear. Since then symptoms got worse - no appetite, feeling full, feeling and being sick, passing mucus, right side pain, night sweats for 2 weeks and losing weight. Then one evening I vomited just fresh blood and had to go a'n'e, it wasn't such a big bleed that they'd keep me in so I went home. They told me my LFTs were raised again (286 ALT). I also had black liquid, and then yellow, diarrhea next day.
I saw a consultant who took me off my migraine prevention medication, prescribed omeprazole and ordered a CT scan. I had already been booked in for an ultrasound which I had and was clear. My latest blood results showed LFTs back to normal but red blood cell count slightly low below normal range. Today I got result of CT scan and they said foca lesions were found on the right lobe of my liver (I read this on an email so had to look up what it meant - not ideal!)
I was shocked by this as I thought liver was back to normal. Although I've read these lesions are usually benign it worries me there are multiple lesions. They have ordered an MRI scan, though not sure how soon I will have this. I've also asked would they want to book in colonoscopy/endoscopy or similar camera test as I am still passing mucus with bowel movements as well as small amounts of blood, losing weight, burping, reflux etc.
I am trying to make sense of these various symptoms with this new result, and I know I can't find answers but yeah I am feeling scared now and it's just so hard waiting for answers. Would be good to hear from anyone who has experienced similar.
