Petechiae worry

Hi all I have recently noticed Petechiae on my arms and few on body when I asked doctor google the first thing that come up is leukaemia I'm so scared, I also feel really tired all the time to, I'm booked in the doctors for bloods but was wondering if anyone else has had Petechiae and turned out to be something different? Thank you

    It's good to hear you're booked in to see the doctor - this is always the best way to get things checked out so hopefully it won't be long before you can find out more and get some peace of mind.

    Try to avoid Googling as it's rarely helpful and the information can often be outdated or irrelevant.

    Hi,

    Odd that this should crop up as I've been getting minor petechiae for a couple of weeks, on my wrists and hands.

     

    Mine though, is a side effect of the permanent chemo I'm on and thus not a concern, although I will mention it to my consultant in a couple of weeks.

     

    Sorry I'm not of much help.
