Lettz treatment what happens next ?

Hi I had a letter to say I had the hpv virus and the abnormal cells so had to go in for a colposcopy a week later . 
I have just been for my colposcopy and he said it was definitely pre cancerous cells and had lletz treatment to remove he said it was bigger than normal but still not highly concerned . 
I'm just wondering with the biopsy will that just tell me what I already know and that it is pre cancerous cell or could it tell me more ? I'm wondering if I can stop worrying now till my next smear or if there could still be more to it ?

    Hi my daughter has had exactly the same, she has been worried too....hpv virus and dyskaryosis (severe)=she’s been for colposcopy today. , and going back for lletz treatment.

    She was told after she’s had lletz treatment she would have to go back for a 6 month smear test.

    i suppose if it requires more treatment they would inform you relatively soon.

    sometimes not all of the cells have been removed

    Yes I too had the dyskaryosis -high level . It's quite daunting really isn't it . Hope your daughter got on ok I was a mess but they were very nice and didn't let me leave till they could see I was ok . 
     

    I wasn't sure if from the biopsy there a slight chance they could come back and say it was cancerous if they know it's abnormal cells that's it sort of thing .
