Hi,

I went to the breast clinic on Thursday last week after a 4 week wait from being referred for a small hard lump on my left breast. I had a mammogram and an ultrasound. Nothing showed up on the mammogram. With the ultrasound the doctor found it straight away. It was oval shaped and jet black. She said it was a cyst and that she would drain it however it wouldn't drain. I could see the needle in the middle of it.

After a while trying she said she would need to do biopsies instead as it wouldn't drain.

I now have to wait two weeks for the results. 

Just wondering if anyone else has any experience of being told its a cyst but it not draining? It was jet black on the screen which I have read is a good sign.
