Hard lump very scared

Hi I feel silly posting and maybe I'm over reacting... it was so hot last night I ended up on my bed with  a damp flannel to cool myself down, as I'm doing this I felt a hard lump on my right breast above my nipple area feels quite big and hard/solid, no pain or tenderness I've done nothing but worry, I'm going to call my GP first thing monday morning, I'm 39 next week and three amazing daughters, has anyone been in this similar situation , sorry for rambling xx

    Yours is a very similar situation to mine, I went to gp on Friday and have been referred for a hospital appointment which they said I will get within 2 weeks. The waiting and not knowing is hard cant stop thinking about what could happen. Like most people on here i haven't said anything to any1 except my husband and thats only because he was there when the Dr rang me. Its good to read everyone's stories, just to know your not crazy and everyone has a simular thought process.

    Thank you for your replay, bless you it's so daunting and scary I will be thinking of you and I will definitely update on here as well, I've never wanted Monday to come round so quick !! I'm trying to keep myself busy as much as possible, I've not told my partner as of yet and I think I will wait until ive seen the GP, lucky its birthday week at home with most of my family so I should have my mind busy xx
