hi, 

I have slightly raised CA125 levels at 40. I have seen that this is likely nothing for concern but i have had a dull ache in my lower right abdomen for around a year now with it becoming more often recently, specially two weeks before my period.

I went to get a pelvic scan this morning and the doctor said she couldn't see any cysts or anything. Just that my left ovary is situated behind my uterus (she actually had trouble finding it). 

She suggested that i go to a gynecologist. 

But i am a virgin and quite anxious about the thought of going to see one. Im only 25 so i am not concerned that i would have ovarian cancer but my mother has Multiple sclerosis and and two of my aunts have had breast cancer so i just want to rule out anything. 

I just want to know if it is worth mustering up the courage to go to a gynecologist or not or if anyone else had similar experience and found out what the cause was ? 

Any advice ?
