Contrast mri

HI

cutting a long story short I went drs back in Feb as had pain right side. DR thought was suspected ovarian cysct. Due to covid my ultrasound got delayed to July.

Went in july were a bright spot on uterus showed up.

Then was referred to gynae for biopsy which couldn't be obtained as I have cervical stenosis from cone biopsy , so another transvaginal scan still showing bright spot in muscle of uterus and now have a contrast mri booked for next week.

I'm so scared radiologists said she doeant think anything sinister maybe endo or polyp.

I cant help thinking the worse and I'm so worried I'm 34 and a mother of a 11 year old boy.

I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with this health concern at the moment. It's understandable that you're worried about what may be causing the symptoms.

Try to focus on the radiologists comments that she didn't think it was anything sinister. Keeping positive and not thinking too far ahead can help to keep anxiety levels more manageable.

Hopefully you won't have to wait too long after your MRI for the results and the Consultant will be able to give you some reassurance.

    Best wishes,
