Lymphoma

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right forum but I would like to get peoples experiences etc.

I have a lump on the side of my neck on the hairline for over 2 months now. It's not noticeable, but can feel it if you touch it, it's about the size of a marble. My symptoms include fatigue, bad night sweats and occasional itching at night.

I've been to the doctor and he called to say I have elevated white blood cells. I'm being referred to the hospital which I'm relieved about.

Has anyone had a similar experience with a positive outcome.

  • Hello Ire123

I'm sorry to hear that you've had some health concerns recently. It's good to hear that your GP is investigating your symptoms and I do hope that you don't have to wait too long for an appointment.
It's natural to feel worried whilst waiting for appointments and tests but try to stay positive and take things a day at a time. This will help you to feel less anxious.
If you'd like to chat things through with one of our nurses then do give them a call on 0808 800 4040 (Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm).

    Best wishes,
