Breast pain when touching

Hi, I'm just looking for a little advice. I had a lump on my right breast that my doctor thought was a lymphoma. You can actually see it on the breast, this was in February. Yesterday I noticed a dull ache in the same breast when I was checking for changes. In the same breast this morning it really hurts when I press on that area above the lymphoma. I'm talking about I jumped when I touched it as it was so sore. Today though the area feels which I can only describe as hollow under the skin. I trust my doctor implicitly and trust that it's a lymphoma. The area around the lymphoma and the lymphoma itself hasn't got any bigger. I don't think it's cancer but I have no clue as to what it is, maybe a cyst perhaps. Anyone any ideas? I

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing some breast pain. Given that this is a new symptom since you last saw your GP it would be sensible to get in touch with them again so that they can arrange to see you and deal with things as necessary.

Do let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes,

  • Hi Jenn, thanks for replying. I saw the doctor yesterday and from when I examined the breast at the weekend there was what looked like a thickened vein. By the time the doctor saw it, it had became like a bruise in the same area as the pain, not exactly on the bruise but within 10-15cm. He has referred me to the Brwast clinic as a precaution as these are new symptoms.
