Hello,

I'm going out of my mind worrying. My fiancé has been experiencing abdominal pain for 7 months now with constipation and diarrhoea. He's been backwards and forwards to the GP for blood tests and stool samples in the last 2 months or so. It was first put down as IBS but the first stool sample that came back the diagnosis was put down as IBD 

Last week a liquid bases stool sample was done and came back with a FIT score of 200 

He's having a colonoscopy in 2 days but I'm my own worst enemy because I've been googling things and have been scaring myself in what else the symptoms might be. 
He has been in so much pain and says about stabbing and cramping feelings throughout the night for a long time now. 
 

I just don't know what to think at the moment apart from the worst. We've been together since September last year after I came out of a very long term controlling relationship. We were meant to be getting married in May this year but because of Covid it had to be postponed.
