Normal bloods but lymph nodes up everywhere?

Hi

I've had a enlarged spleen for 5 years, which was contributed to fatty liver, but recently I've had lymph nodes pop up in my neck under arms collarbone and groin.

i had a full blood count done, all normal, red and white cells platelets thyroid etc, I think esr was slightly raised but that was it.

the dr seemed reassured by this, but could it still be lymphoma ?

what would be the next step?

thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you have a wonderful day

  • I'm glad the test results have come back all clear clarelaurenclare but if you're still concerned maybe you could try getting a second opinion from a different doctor. To find out more just click here.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar situation will offer their thoughts and advice soon as well.

    Kind regards,

  • Hi Clare,

    I hope you are well.

I wondered if you got any further with your queries? I am in a similar situation, I have had enlarged lymph nodes for years, blood tests always come back fine as do ultrasounds. On and off over the last few years I get a pain under my left ribs which I assume is my spleen, it has got worse over the last few days so it is making me panic. I have never actually mentioned this to my Dr.

i try to think logically as I've seen so many Dr's but my mind always races to the worst!

    thank you

  • Hi,

I am in a very similar situation to you.

I have a hard lump on my neck that has been checked by ultrasound and had blood tests which have all come back fine, but still worried.

I have other lumps in my neck but they are more soft and smaller.

I was wondering if you have done any more tests on yours or found anything?

    thanks

  • Exact same position here, long term nodes in my neck and groin, plus I think I keep finding new ones. My bloods have all come back good, so has my neck ultrasound, wondering if any news came back for you all?

  • Hi,

no, I've been told that the ones in my neck were nothing to worry about, but they still haven't gone away. I also developed one in my groin that the doctor felt and also said nothing to worry about. I'm quite worried though as this hasn't gone down for months!

sorry I couldn't be of any more help! I'm in the same position as you.
