I had a bowel cancer operation 17 years ago, had clemo and stoma bag for six months and then resection. 

I had my last colonocopy November 2019 which gives me some relief in my worries (it was done due to low Iron and some weight loss) - thankfully all came back clear.

In April I was put on a 3 month course of Iron tablets (Ferrous Furnarate) as my Iron was still low, 3 weeks ago i

had a blood test which came back satisfactory (although i still had a few days of the pills to finish).

While on the course i was getting loose stools (im very often constipated) so thought it was a side effect of the pills but this has continued since finishing. My poo has gone back to the correct colour but i have terrible gas (which really does smell horrible) loud bowel sounds and quite often my poo stays floating on the top. i dont really have any stomach pain except sometimes where my bag scar is (which is just to the right of my belly button) and goes across to my left side..

has anyone else suffered with this and could possibly give me any answers.
