I called this morning and they're having to fit in additional clinics to catch up. They're going to call when they're all set up. I'm not sure how long to leave it before chasing.

Will definitely try and avoid google !!

Could this be why my GP sent me away without a referral to the breast clinic!?

Was the GP able to determine what your symptoms were? 

Yes she agreed there was a distinct thickening but said I think it's ok. I have since noticed some discharge and itching so considering going back.

I am in same boat, small pea sized, hard lump in left breast. Given 2 week referral but hospital arent able to meet 2 week wait so nearly 4 weeks for me. Spoke to my gp surgery today to see if they can get me in at one of the other hospitals as there are 3 that do breast clinics but all are full.

I'm in the North East, are you?

Hope you get appointment soon it is so frustrating waiting and can't switch off from it at all.

I'm East Midlands ... it's so difficult to switch off isn't it. Fingers crossed appointments come through for us both soon x
