Breast ultrasound

Hi all,

First time posting and was looking for some clarification, maybe? just confused tbh. Last had a mammo 4 years ago, delayed due to short staff and then Covid! anyway, finally got round to seeing a sonographer - have dense breast tissue so had an ultrasound and mammo. Upshot is that all seems ok (apparently) or so she told me initially but have fibrocystic disease so right breast sometimes hurts. Then after ultrasound was completed sonographer said she thought there were tiny calcifications in right breast. That's what she told me but also what report says but when I asked her I was told she was unsure what they were and that I should go for a mammo. I'm confused because I thought an ultrasound couldn't pick up microcalcifications so I suppose I am wondering what it is she might have seen. Didn't seem too sure herself.

I am really worried now...wish I'd never gone.
