Can anyone help?

I recently had an endoscopy in which they took biopsies of the stomach. Now they are requesting an emergency MRI but nothing has been explained to me due to everything with Corona. When I google why they would request an mri after a biopsy google says stomach cancer. Is this true?

Hi. It could be for a number of reasons but it does indicate they may have found something but not necessarily cancer. I would ring the department and ask to speak to the gastroscopy secretary and say you want to know why this MRI has been ordered. Your local GP should know too as the hospital will have informed thenm.

I should have also mentioned I have h pylori and have had multiple appointments with oncologists this year. I have already discussed the risks of cancer with my dr but now I feel like I am not being told anything. Whenever I call to speak to my dr I am told that he is not available

I'm not entirely sure. Ik that is makes you 4 times as likely for stomach cancer (something along those lines) but that's about it. In most of my appointments they would rather speak to my mum than me even though I'm 16 which I also find wierd
