Hi, sorry to hear you going through this. Hopefully you will be seen a lot quicker than what I have been told.

i visited doctor last week with a lump and was urgently referred to breast clinic due to high risk. I called them yesterday to see when I would be due to be seen and they told me at least 3 weeks away.

i am very anxious anyway and am sick to my stomach . Young kids and can't stop crying.

i am trying to see if my husband's company health care might cover me also as I don't think I can cope 3 weeks like this.

I went to doctors on the 8th of July with my lump. Got letter about appointment on the 10th my appointment was last week on the 15th.  I think it depends on where you are. Someone on here yesterday said they have an appointment in 4 weeks but was referred under the 2 week creteria. I'm just waiting for my biopsy results now. 

I had an ultrasound done on the 14th May for something else but GP phoned me the following morning telling me they found an enlarged lymph node in groin which looked very abnormal so was referred to haematologist had my appointment on the 29th May. Which resulted in having a biopsy done that took nearly 4 weeks to get done. Hamatologist phoned me to say not enough sample was taken so had to have another biopsy done which I only had done on the 17th of July 

Thank you everybody for your responses. It seems it depends on where you are. I have been referred to a hospital in Gateshead. 

Sounds like you are all anxious waiting for news about your symptoms but good to chat on here as helps to know you aren't on your own.

Hi, yes that is the area I saw that the other lady is waiting for her appointment. I didn't know it would differ so much in what area you lived in. It seems I have been really lucky. By the time I get my results it will be 22 days from my first doctors visit. 

Just got appointment through today for 6th August!! I am so gutted as was praying I'd get in next week. Now another 2 weeks of waiting.

I have asked my doctor to refer me anywhere and looked at going private but neither seem an option. Just going to have to wait which is awful.
