So sorry you find yourself in this position. Looks like they have found something suspicious but only once the biopsy results come back will they know if its cancerious or not. I know its scary but try and keep your mind off it as worrying won't achieve anything. In a weeks time you'll know what you are dealing with and if it is cancer you'll know what the plan will be to erradicate it. It may sound perverse but I found it easier once I had the diagnosis, it was the not knowing that was difficult. The treatment plan allowed me to see the light at the end of the tunnel and I focused on getting through it and getting rid of it so I could get on with my life. Fingers crossed for you for the 29th, hoping its not as bad as you think it will be x

Thanks so much for your reply, I know exactly what you mean when you say it's easier once you know for sure, it's the waiting that's so difficult. I'm trying to keep my mind off it and stay positive as much as I can but the 29th can't come quick enough so at least I know  and can get out of this limbo. I'll keep you posted once I have my results.     xx

I'm in the same waiting limbo as you. I just want to know now either way. My lump is in the armpit breast tissue and I had my biopsy on the 15th. I'm hoping to get my results this Thursday. I'm 42 but my mum had breast Cancer at 50 so I'm so paronoid. 

I know, it's the waiting that's so difficult, you just want to know what's happening. I hope everything works out for you, let me know how you get on.    x

I will do. Just want to know now either way. It feels like I'm in limbo. I've had no pain all day and now it's hurting again. It's still bruised from the biopsy too x

the waiting is awful, I was bruised from my biopsies for months and also had a large hematoma which took about 2 months to go. I found the biopsies worse than the actual BC operation. But it all heals eventually  x

Hi just wanted to let you know that I had my results today and its a fibroadenoma in my armpit breast tissue. I'm shocked as I thought this happened only in younger people not in your 40's.  The BC nurse said my pain at the moment is from the core biopsy.

I have to monitor the lump and if it gets bigger go back but she said it may eventually shrink on its own. They said to keep being breast aware as my Mum and Nan died of BC and if anything else changes go back to my GP x
