Hi

I have just had a phone call from my G.P with my MRI results of my neck .....

My GP said they've found 2 abnormalities and an enlarged lymph node

im beyond scared

She said that there's abnormality on the the right side of my epiglottis and something on the left too.

I'm being referred for a 2 week maxofacial appointment

I had a camera put down my throat in March but the Professor didn't see anything

I would be so grateful for some words of wisdom right now

I'm sorry to hear that your recent MRI results have raised some concerns. We know that waiting for appointments can be a particularly difficult time. It's natural to be worried about what these abnormalities may be but hopefully you won't have to wait too long for your appointment.
It may be helpful to have a chat with one of our nurses ahead of your appointment. they're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040. I'm sure that they would be able to give you some advice and support.
