Breast and Armpit pain

I am so glad to have found this chat group as I have been getting the breast  / arm pit pain for a number of months now and its getting worse.  At first I thought it was hormonal (49 - so possibly menopausal related).  For me its the right hand side and I get a burning sensation sometimes.  The breast feels rock solid sometimes and then normal other times.  I am trying to get back into my GP to get checked over again as it was last year the last time I raised this when them and its not got any better.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've been dealing with breast and arm pit pain for a while now. Do get in touch with your GP if you've not already and they will be able to arrange an appointment to get things checked and if necessary, a referral to breast clinic.

    Hi, 

     

    Have you managed to get in with your doctor?  I've had the burning pain too I'm 42 but the consultant thought those symptoms where just my changing hormones. This has been happening for a few months.

     

    I initially went to the doctors with a lump in my armpit which I thought was a lymph node but turns out its lump in my migrating breast tissue. Had my appointment at the breast clinic last Wednesday and my mammogram was clear on both breasts. I had to have a ultrasound on the lump and they have taken a biopsy. Fingers crossed its nothing serious.

     

    I have found it really good to talk on here with people that are going through the same thing. It makes me less worried each time I write about it if you know what I mean.

    Hi 

    Yes managed to get in the doctors tomorrow to get checked.  I am a lumpy person - told this by GP years ago - so could just be a mix of hormones or a cyst or as you say lypmh node.

     

    Its good that your mammogram was clear.  Lets hope the biopsy results are speedy and good outcome.
