Hi. I'm a 32 year old woman. I phoned my doctor a few weeks ago with a large amount of prolonged rectal bleeding. He referred me to have a CT scan urgently (within 2 weeks) and a colonoscopy after that. I've had blood tests as well. The colonoscopy found lots of inflammation and a polyp, which was removed, and they took 18 other samples. They were sent as 'urgent'. Should I expect my results soon? Sorry if this seems irrational but I can't stop thinking about it.
