Hello

Newbie here and need some advice/reassurance.

2 weeks ago (1st july) noticed a dimple on my breast when leaning over to run a bath.

Went to gp next day ( 2nd) as she said she would have to examine me.  Doctor felt around and said she could feel a lump under armpit and I would need to be referred.

4 days later I get a letter from hospital saying a member of breast surgery team will do a telephone consultation ( 13th july).  Get the phone call and ran through history, symptoms etc.  Said would need to see me and I was to wait for appointment.  It's now 17th and I rang yesterday to hospital contact clinic who said they were waiting to set up a clinic??? 

I am terrified.  This wait is making me more anxious and nervous.  Is this normal???
