Hi today I had a poo that was hard at the top. It stung on the way out and felt like it split the skin. When I looked there was a thin streak of blood down the poo. There was a slight pain afterwards and very little blood on the toilet paper.

I had another poo about an hour ago and it had another streak down it. I had little to no pain after this poo. I have had no poo mixed in with the blood, only streaks and I have had no blood drip into the toilet water.

I googled and all signs point to an anal fissure but I am a severe hypochodriac and can't put my mind at ease with these symptoms. I am 18 and i know that more serious conditions such as colon cancer are rare at my age but there is still a chance. Should I be concerned about my symptoms?
