Hello. We sound very very similar!!

I have also had a lump toward the middle of my neck which I had the same, waited a week and have had blood test. Results today are fine apart from slightly high platelets?! 

Being referred to ENT so another anxious wait.

I completely understand how you feeling being a Google diagnoser which never has any good outcome!

yeahhh it is draining. 

I've had the main lump for 6/7 weeks now along with the weight loss is a bit concerning to me but it took my gp a month, 2 rounds of antibiotics to even physically see the main lump the others have appeared over the last 2 weeks while waiting for the 2ww appt with ENT and today was only a telephone appointment which i legit cried over last week because i was stressed at work and stressed about my own health as i only started this job a couple of months ago and i really love it. My new team are amazing even with the stress of the envroment. I'm an infectious diseases nurse so i damn sure know when something isn't right and my doctors have been fobbing me off for ages as some symptoms started last year, they sent me to haematology but about a month ago they were like well you were tested for lymphoma last year year so that it couldn't possibly be that !! I mean its a whole 13 months ago  i was tested for that :O i hope you get answers soon x

I hope you are well and that you have your results back. My boyfriend is also in this position and I am very worried. He has suffered with night sweats and small lumps on his next for a couple of years now and we thought nothing of it. He did mention it a while back to the doctors but it wasn't taken seriously. Yesterday a golf ball sized lump developed on the front of his neck. I was very alarmed. He booked an appointment and was seen that day (yesterday). The doctor has said to him it is suspected cancer and he has to go for an urgent appointment at the ENT unit next week. What happens when you are there please? I am petrified he has cancer and I can't stop thinking about it. He is in his 20s. The more I read up on it the more I am convinced. The doctor also said he has multiple swollen lympnodes on his groin area also and he as lost over 3 stone and still suffers badly with night sweats. 
 

it would be great if you could respond with what happens during the first appointment at the ENT. I am praying he doesn't have cancer and I am so scared if he does but I have a really bad feeling about it :'( I don't know what to do.

It's awful that you have to wait so long for your biopsy, the waiting is so horrible. I am sorry you are going through this too. I hope everything goes okay for you. It would be great if you can keep us updated. I wonder if we will know any more on Tuesday when they examine further. I feel physically sick over it all. That is helpful, thank you for that information. x
