Why my consultant changed my hospital appointment to telephone one to discuss s breast biopsy results? Should i be worried or relieved? And also my biopsy got infected and started to leak, wondering does anyone else experience that?
Hey, I am non medical staff that works in an outpatient department in an NHS trust, our doctors have currently been seeing all patients via telemed appointments apart from those clinically urgent. Of course things vary at the moment with COVID etc but I think you should take a deep breath and try and lift some of that weight off of your shoulders!

Actually I had my biopsy on 3rd of July and i have been told that an appointment has been set for me to come back , I received a letter 2 days ago confirming my appointment to see consultant and also a phone call to confirm to see the consultant in hospital but yesterday afternoon I received a call that my appointment will be on phone instead of hospital . Since then i am thinking is it a good sign or what? Lets hope for the best
