Hi All.

 

Last Wednesday I had 7 mammograms, an ultrasound and 8 biopsies taken from my breast. Wasn’t my best day even by lockdown standards. ️ Humour is a must! I’m not making  light or being flippant. Just my coping strategy! My consultant was really concerned with several white calcium spots...and less concerned with the 5cm lump that showed up. 

 

Anyone else who has been through this with what to expect..? I’m pretty sure what he will say next Wednesday but words from others to prepare may help. ️

    Just noticed that your follow up appointment at the breast clinic is tomorrow and so wanted to post to pass on my best wishes. 

    A sense of humour and positive thinking will stand you in good stead whatever news you get. If there is anything that you'd like to talk to our nurses abour then give them a call. I'm sure they will be happy to offer some advice and support. They are available on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. 

    Do let us know how you get on tomorrow.
