ive had abnormal cells successfully treated in the past. Abnormal doesn't mean cancer, it's just cell changes that could lead to cancer if not treated. Mine we're severe so had mine removed years ago and had clear smears since. I did have some abnormal discharge with mine which is what prompted me to go to doctors. There's a number of reasons your periods are not regular so I'd mention that to you doctor, as lots of things can affect your period.

also bear in mind, stress can cause lots of tummy troubles as well as upset tummy and sickness. 

Thank you for your reply. I have been for my appointment this morning and the lady was amazing. She explained everything in detail as the initial letter was quite frightening! 
I have tested positive for hpv and have low grade cell changes. She said they don't require treatment currently and I have to go back in 12 months and hopefully they have gone away. Very re-assured :) 

That's great news! So pleased for you. What a relief. How are you feeling now, hope you're feeling better. The changes might just go back to normal on there own x

I'm feeling much better this evening thank you. I had started to panic about things I hadn't given a second thought to before. A couple of random periods, lower back pain but she wasn't worried by them. I asked was waiting 12 months safe and she assured me that it takes a long time to develop into cancer (if they were even going to) so it's absolutely fine and hopefully they will just go back to normal by their self, fingers crossed. Feel silly for worrying now but I'm on my own with my son and you panic for them don't you! Xx
