I'm sorry to hear that you've been dealing with this health problem. Cancer of the ear is rare but it's sensible that your GP has referred you to see a specialist if they have concerns about what may be causing your symptoms. 

We know that waiting for appointments can be a particularly difficult time for many people and it's natural to be anxious and scared about what may be ahead of you. Alhough often more easily said than done, try to take things a day at a time and spend too much time looking ahead or searching the internet to try to find answers.
