Could I have colon cancer at 18?

I’m thinking it could be colon cancer?

I went to the doctor about my constant heartburn today (I have gerd). My gerd only goes away when I take nexium. My nexium ran out so I went back. This all started last month. 

He said he’ll send a letter for me to have an endoscopy for gastritis Or ulcer but maybe it could also be colon cancer? 

My symptoms are shortness of breath and chest pain and heartburn when I lie down flat on my bed. When I take nexium it upsets my stomach. No blood in stools or anything though

    I hope you've updated your doctor about the stomach problems you have when taking nexium, maybe they can offer some advice. I'm sure you'll get your appointment letter soon and try not to worry. It can be tempting to overthink and look for answers online, but this can end up increasing anxiety rather than making you feel better.  And the only person that can diagnose you is your doctor.
