I've had on and off breast pain for the last few months, which lasts a couple of days to a couple of weeks here and there. This was what initially encouraged me to schedule a gyno appointment, who felt my breast and felt no lumps and mentioned it was most likely a cyst.
Fast forward to two weekends ago, I felt a small pea-sized lump and still have pain. Went for a mammogram and ultrasound, which found a mass and ruled out a cyst. I'm 30 years old, so terrified to have cancer so young. I'm waiting on a biopsy, which will take place Wednesday, but most medical professionals I've encountered say pain is a good sign, as it's not typical of cancer, so I was wondering if anyone has experienced pain or not and how it turned out for them? I've heard mention of the possibility it could be a fibroadenoma but when I google, it doesn't seem like pain comes with those either.
I'm a mess during this waiting game - wondering what others have experienced?
