Hi. I had a mri and ct scan a week ago and now due a pet scan. I felt really worried too and i was struggling to cope. Try and find a distraction and whatever it is you will feel better once you know. I have my family to talk to but not many friends either, so feel free to speak to me!

Hi Amy , thank you for your reply . I really wasn't expecting this , I thought it was all to do with my stomach but it now looks as though it was masking something else . I have real concerns with how the NHS is operating , I do hope it a swift referral . Two departments are requesting a scan so hopefully that may speed things up . After the call with my Doc with ref to the scan findings , I really lost it a bit and not having anyone to talk to was quite unbearable. Really hoping by later this week I should get a date , I will keep you updated and I'm also here for you, Take Care Vicki x

It is very unexpected and a shock to the system. Ive found the nhs has been ok with appointment and dates, they will hopefuly get things sorted for you soon. I hate waiting too, i just want to get the tests done then start treatment! If you don't hear from them i would give them a call, i do. Yeah let me know how it goes
