I've recently had a lump appear on my leg out of nowhere, I went to the doctors and they sent me for a X Ray. First time I've been to the doctors as an adult and assumed they'd contact me with the results but that wasn't the case. I rung up and they've got me a phone appointment for in 8 days time.

Am I right in saying if it was urgent they'd make the appoitnment sooner?
