Just wondered if anyone has any guidance on current waiting times for results and usual referral times?

I saw my GP just about two weeks ago about what I thought was just a spot in my ear (not huge but right by opening to ear canal); there was some muttering that it looks like BCC so she referred me to dermatology.

I had my appointment there yesterday and left being told they'd be in touch with a date for a biopsy. They weren't overly helpful or provided much in terms of info but I suspect these times are challenging for everyone.

Anyhow, they rang this moment and are bringing me in this Thursday for the biopsy! 
Now I don't imply that the quick turnaround is a sign that anyone necessarily suspects something sinister but just wondered what other people experienced in terms of turnaround times and how long I may have to wait for results after Thursday? I'm a pretty positive person so try not to worry until I have to, but it's on my mind!
