I haven't been diagnosed but wanted to let you know I have the exact same story as you accept I went to the hospital today after an urgent referral for a lump under my nipple, about a cm wide. I'm 37 with no history of breast cancer in the family.

They were wonderful, after a clinical assessment where they felt the area they the carried out an ultrasound as my lymphnodes in the armpit where palpable but she wasnt concerned about them. The radiologist said she couldn't be sure of what the lump is but she didn't think it looked sinister yet wasnt sure so they carried out a core biopsy to confirm diagnosis. My results should hopefully be in next thursday.

Try not to read too much online as you ca easily be scared by it.

Even though the wait is hard and worrying you're in the best hands now.

Just some advice though, take some paracetamol to your appointment just incase you have a core biopsy as it it can be quite sore after.
