Hi

I had hygkins lymphoma 10 years ago and till then in remission. But now felt pain in left breast and my left breast has been large then the right side means left side is fuller than the right side . My left underarm is bit big then right undearm. I was referred to the breast clinic today and breast consultant said it's a fatty tissue, she didn't feel no lumps. But to reassure would like to do ultrasound. When ultrasound was done, 2 swallon glands were found, not in the middle of armpit below it, n biopsy was carried out. Blood results all normal, chest x ray clear. Now got a apt next week to find out the results...have pain shoulder blade, back. Radiographer said due to my past medical history we think it's necessary to do biopsy and when i questioned she said it could be hodgkin lymphoma returned or could be normal. My mother also passed away from breast cancer. She also said if it was infection then should have been in both underarms. But it's only in left.

I am 36 with 3 kids.

I am just really feeling bit down.

    Hi Fatimah,

Welcome to our forum - the one that nobody really wants to join. I am so sorry to hear about a possible recurrence of your Hodgkins Lymphoma. I was first diagnosed with breast cancer 11 years ago and, was diagnosed with a second cancer in the same breast the following year. My mum also passed away with secondary breast cancer 10 years before I was diagnosed. I have 2 kids, so I have some idea how you must be feeling.

I sincerely hope that this is just an infection which can be easily dealt with.

Do please let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
