Hi I'm a 52 years of age and I recently been siagnose with thyroid cancer. I have had both sides of my thyroid removed and only right side had cancer in it . I have notice for a few months now that I have Serval lymph nodes that are large in my neck , should I get this checked out or is it just because of what I have been through. I have also got lump on side of my nose which feels boney and causing pain behind my eye . If anyone is out they who can give me some advice I would really appreciate it .

Hi Debbie,
I am very sorry to hear about it. The diagnosis must be really on your mind now.
Of cause, you need to get it checked. I would think they will do it quite quickly for you, considering your history.

Though try not to freak out too much. The lump on the nose could be an abscess, hence lymph nodes enlarged? Nevertheless it needs to be treated asap

Thank you for response I have had word with cancer team and I'm waiting for call to see if I need to get checked I'm also booked in to hospital to see if I need radioiodine after op. I think my calcium levels are low as well because my bones hurt and tingling sensation in feet , finger, and face and I feel in well xx
