I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant and in my early pregnancy I got my smear results back as having hpv and low grade dyskaryosis. I was referred for a colposcopy which I had when I was 16 weeks pregnant and I have another booked for September then 3 months after baby is here. I just mentioned it to my midwife as it has been playing on my mind and she was shocked they are doing a colposcopy when I'm pregnant which has freaked me out as I thought it was safe. Now I'm worried that the results were bad and that's why they want to see me again. Does anyone know if this is normal procedure in pregnancy? :confused:
