I do hope everyone is doing well. I am going for my biopsies & other scan results tomorrow, from your experiences any vital questions I should ask there & then please best to get as many answered either way.
I cant think of anything really to ask just make sure you understand the results your given and if your unsure of anything the breast care nurses can answer any questions afterwards if you dont take it all in.

Thank you so much for your support and kind words. I guess I should know in a few hours and take the news from there, it's the waiting that is the worse at this stage anyways.
Can you bring someone with you to your appointment? This is always a good idea. I know that some hospitals are not allowing any additional people into their clinics at present, but most will still allow you to take someone with you for results.
You probably don't have many questions to ask tomorrow, but once you know the results, you will find that the questions will just grow. Write them down as you think of them and, take them along to your next appointment. If they have found anything untoward, you will find that any surgery or treatment will already have been discussed at your Multidisciplinary tea (MDT) meeting. Your consultant usually holds these meetings weekly and, will discuss your results and future treatment with his/her colleagues before you return for your results.

Thank you all so much for your comments and kind words. Unfortunately I got diagnosed with invasive ductual cancer. So they have given me some options operation & treatment wise.
is there anyone on this they have had this form? Perhaps we can chat on it etc please ?
I am so sorry to hear about your results. I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer myself within the past 11 years, so I know just how worrying a positive diagnosis is and, what a terrible shock it is for you.

Can I ask what surgical and treatment options you have been given and, whether or not you have any idea of what way you want to go?

Thank you for the msg. I had the lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node removed & after the biopsy they said it has spread to Sentinel lymph nodes, so having another operation to remove all lymph node in 2/3 weeks time Sept 2020 and then will have to wait to hear about that biopsy. Upsetting but fingers crossed they come back clear.
Otherwise healing well physically anyways
