Bit concerned about CT results

I'm extremely worried about this CT and don't have an appointment with an ENt for a few weeks can someone give me there opinion on this report please.

Ct result

asymemtry of the posterior oropharynx. Serveral enlarged lymph nodes which are asymmetric and involves the left cervical chain measuring up to 10mm just anteriorly to the left sternocleidomastiod muscle and in the left submandibular space and in the left posterior cervical chain deep to the left sternocleidomastoid muscle measuring 12 mm.

I had a nodule removed from my thyroid 4 years ago and now there is a heterogeneous hyper intense nodule within the isthmus measuring 11mm.

Hello

As we are all just cancer patients and carers, we are not qualified to interpret any scan reports etc. Can you speak to your doctor or consultant in advance of your appointment as they are the only ones who can accurately explain this to you?

Hi minska,

thank you for your reply. I do understand that this is not a medical forum. I just thought if someone was in the same situation and it turned out to be nothing. It's very difficult not to worry about it.

Hi Serska,
Welcome to our forum. I am sorry that I cannot help you as I am a breast cancer pilgrim. Someone with similar problems may well come along yet. In the meantime, can I suggest that you phone our nurses and ask for their interpretation? If you phone 0808 800 4040 between 9.00am and 5.00pm Mon-Fri, they should be able to help you.
