Hard Lump on chest wall

Hi,

Recently i went for a scan after finding a lump in my breast, which was all clear nothing was found so i was relieved. However, a new lump has appeared in my chest - above my breast, closer to my collarbone area and its hard and quite big. I went to A&E and they did an ultrasound and an X-Ray and said the think it's due to coughing from a viral infection, as i had signs of pneumonia on my lungs. I then tested positive for coronavirus and a week has passed and now have tested negative. However, the lump is still there, same size, and now i'm experiencing pain on the ribs under my breasts. I'm worried the scans did not pick up on anything as it may be early stages and there is now a round hard lump on my collarbone. After recently having a cancer scare i'm really panicking and convinced it's a bone cancer - does anyone have any advice?

Thank you!

  • Hey!

I'm really sorry to hear about your situation and I hope that you're getting the care you deserve! I'm always here for a chat if you need it honestly!

Thank you for the advice I went to A&E toda to talk about the lump and the new lump I found and he aid h's not worried and it's just the joints, possibly protruding more due to my recent weight loss? And he said if I had the X-ray already that it's reassuring so i'm going to stop obsessing over it for a while I think and stop touching them as he said it may be inflamed due to touching them. I have major health anxiety so it's going to be a challenge haha but hopefully there is nothing to worry about.

Thank you for replying it really does mean a lot, take care!
