I don't even no what to think

Hey guys so I'm 30 years old have suffered with my health for a while I had Lund and heart disease (sarcoidosis) chronic tachycardia, high cholesterol, diabetes, polycithemia ect.

The last two months I've rarely been eating much on the 4th June I started to bleed heavily for about 4 hours every time I went for a wee.

I've been having pains in my lower stomach. The doctors sent me for a 2 week referral I seen a urologist within 24 hours who organised a ct urogram and a cycscopcy under general anaesthetic.

I got a phone call 2 days ago saying they have found thickening in my wall bladder and I'm going in on the 14th of July to be put to sleep for cycscopcy.

Have anyone been through the same hope everyone is well:) xxxxx

  • Hello Jonathan2020

Welcome to the forum and I'm sorry to hear about your recent health problems. It's natural that you're feeling concerned and perhaps worried about what may be causing the bleeding and that the Dr's have told you they've found a thickening. We know that this period of waiting for tests and results can be really difficult for lots of people.

It's worth bearing in mind that there are causes other than cancer that can lead to thickening in the bladder so try to stay positive until you have more information after your procedure on the 14th.

I wonder if you might find it useful to speak to one of our nurses before your appointment. If you'd like to speak to them they are available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

I hope that the cystoscopy gives the Dr's the answers needed to start planning how to resolve this problem for you. Do let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes,
