Hi All,
I don't really know where to begin, I have a complicated gynae history so I will start with my question then go into issues.
I have had a call to redo urine sample as I had red blood cell count of 77. They requested bloods which I thought was routine but noticed they have asked for CA-125 to be done. Anyone had similar? Should I be worried? So thats my question out the way, here is my story.
I have had endometriosis for 16 years, had 4 laparoscopies with laser treatment, 2 different types of hormone injections that put me through chemically induced menapause. I had an emergency C section with my daughter in 2018, lost a lot of blood and had a bad infection. Since then my pain has got worse so went back to gynae and had an MRI scan. They confirmed Endometriosis, Adenymiosis, an 11cm fibroid pulling my uterus into retroverted position, adhesions sticking my ovaries in the wrong place. So after this we decided a hysterectomy was the best thing, this was in Jan 2020. In May I feel really ill with pain in abdomen, brown mucus passing and high fever, I ended up admitted to hospital where they treated me for Pelvic Inflammatory Disease and inflammation in my fallopian tube, I have been bleeding/brown mucus for 6 weeks now. I have now been on two x 2 week courses of strong antibiotics, but both times I have stopped them the pain comes back and I start bleeding heavier.
I went back to docs on Monday, she took swans for chlamydia and ghonnorea which were negative (which I knew) she took a urine sample and bloods too. This is were the worry has started with the red blood cells and now the CA-125 bloods. No results back on those yet. I am probably getting myselg worked up over nothing, but thought I would see if anyone had this?
I should also mention that I had a Iridology report done and it states that there are issues with my Bladder/pelvis and obviously points towards my uterus, ovaries etc.
Arrghhhh my head hurts just writing this. Sorry lol xx
