I have exactly the same symptoms as you! 

Only advice I can give is the stuff I have to keep telling myself, because of your fitness and age its statistically unlikely that it is anything so sinister, and the previous clear tests are reassuring! There are a lot of conditions that can cause these types of symptoms so we just have to hope for the best

Hello I am just wondering if you can feel a lump in lower left abdomen going down to pubic bone that gets harder towards the end as I shev that and all you symptoms and was told you t was just my colon

I don't have a lump there, no.

Woke up today and am just stressing out so badly. I know I'm going to be told the worst, I seem to have all of the awful symptoms.

I have been experiencing the same problem. I'm 29 female. Last September I woke with an awful left sided lower pain. I saw my Dr who didn't really know the cause but told me to "keep an eye on it". The pain eased off after 2 days and I put it down to being one of those things.

Anway, fast forward to now... And I've been suffering this tenderness to touch on my left side and the pain radiates down to my groin whenever I press or pressure is put there. I have seen or spoken to a different Dr every month since last September. Told it was constipation which I haven't been constipated. I've had a pelvic scan back in November to rule of Ovary, female issues. 2 sets of bloods all normal.

I got pregnant in December and was told this complicated things and referred in Feb for investigation. Lockdown threw that referral out the window and I've heard nothing. Spoke to a Dr again last month who told me that until I give birth now nothing will be done!!!

Last 2 weeks I've had a change in bowel habits. They are extremely loose, I find I'm having to go after eating and the colour isn't right.

I am convinced I have bowel cancer. It's ruining every aspect of my life. 

I feel no Dr has taken me seriously. Kept being told I'm too young for bowel cancer. I'm afraid that by the time baby is born and investigated, it'll be too late.

Did you need a Dr referral to go private. I'm really considering it too. 

I feel your anxiousness. I really hope we are both being worried about nothing. Xx

That is crazy. 40 weeks. 

This is what worries me. Another 40 weeks on top of the 10 I've already had this tenderness is just terrible. 

I hate how they play the "too young" card. Because that's is absolute rubbish.

I'm just stuck in the situation now where I have to see if it goes after birth, in which case it may have been muscular or ill have to book to go private. I would go private now but I've read they are limited on what tests they can do in pregnancy.

So frustrating when you know something is wrong and no one takes you seriously.

apart from ive been getting mucous for ages! I'm sitting here right now with tiger balm on my lower back because the pain is just so uncomfortable. My stools are very thin and not normal and i feel totally alien down there too as everything is out of norm... 

I'm going out of my mind with worry. I've had a CT scan with contrast dye but nothing will rule anything out until I e had the colonoscopy- and the wait is driving me insane!! I'm thinking of going private now too if I get no joy with an appointment tomorrow... wasn't sure which private hospitals are doing them at the moment as some are just taking NHS patients due to Covid...? I'm in the exact same boat- the not knowing and anxiety is just causing so much stress and putting a dark cloud over everything.

I came across your post and can completely understand your worry. I know how hard it is not to worry but the clear abdominal ultrasound and blood tests are reassuring. I too have had an abdominal ultrasound in back in April and two lots of blood tests for symptoms very similar to yours and have to keep telling myself the same thing. Have they done any other examinations or tests? I've recently been referred to a gastroenterologist because I also have rectal bleeding, which they are saying is piles and looser more frequent bowel movements, I've also lost weight and my hair is falling out (no anemia though). I'm terrified and have also looked into private appointments because like you my age (34) goes against me. A colonoscopy done privately will cost over £2,000, money I simply haven't got sadly. I'm also worried about the referral and wait times due to COVID because like you I know how much the worry can consume you on some days. Stay strong. Do you have a date for your tests yet going private? Please keep us updated.

Hi Lil_C A few years ago I had someone rectal bleeding and infrequent bowel movements and the doctor was not taking me seriously so I went private and turns out it was colon cancer so it was found early and very treatable so how long have you had these symptoms? And I would definitely recommend going to private appointment ASAP

I've had it on and off for two years since my DD was born. It's bright red and often after a bowel movement. They have done two examinations and I do have an external pile and skin tag so they are putting it down to that. They have also done two blood tests and I've had a lower abdomen scan all which have come back clear.
