Hi all

I had a brain MRI today due to these symptoms

- partial seizures 

- severe headaches 

- olfactory hallucinations 

- severe vertigo episodes

Does anybody know if the MRI shows raised intracranial pressure? And how long the results take? I have a phone call with my consultant booked for Monday afternoon, if there was anything serious would he contact me before then? 

I just want a diagnosis because I'm so sick of the headaches.

    I just wanted to welcome you to our forum and wish you the best of luck for your important phone call on Monday. I can imagine you must be very nervous over the weekend as you are waiting these important results and I hope you are managing to keep busy and distracted with your mind focused on other things. It won't be long now before you have some clear answers and your consultant tells you more about it. We have information on our website on MRI scans which you can find here - it mentions that you usually get results within 1 to 2 weeks.
