Hi,
just wanted to write a reply as I've just sent a fob test off last week & still waiting for my results. I've been put through as an urgent referral for a gi aswell. I have read that bleeding gums, nosebleeds, stomach ulcers etc can all lead to a positive test & it doesn't necessarily mean bowel cancer. I'm 27 aswell and absolutely petrified. I hope all goes well for you
Hi, just wanted to reply to say that, like you and Zara, I'm in the same boat and am 26 (27 next month). From my research, high inflammation in the bowel (if you had that tested?) is indicative of IBD. If you meant it picked up blood, that can also be present in IBD and other bowel issues. I'm also feeling terrified, but trying to remember that there are other things it could be.
Hello
Perception is in the eye of the beholder,l was slightly more relieved to have been diagnosed with cancer than chrones or ibs, none of which are good news., so l hope your problem is none of these and is something more easily treated,
David
Hi Laura, just wondering if you've heard any more
news?
