Hi, 

Last year I had a smear test which showed abnormal cells, and high risk HPV. I went to the colposcopy clinic and they took a biopsy, it showed CIN1, they decided to wait and see and repeat the smear in a year....Fast forward...  I've had the repeat smear, exactly the same result, I've been to the hospital for a biopsy and the results from that were CIN1 - 2 and I need Lletz in a months time.... I feel so unbelievably anxious about this, what is the procedure like?

I'm 35 and have kept on top of my smears, so the rational part of my brain is saying that the lletz will be very effective, but I can't help but worry and I have health anxiety!
