Little lump found on testicle but shielding

So, i've noticed a solid pea sized lump at the top of a testicle - it's not directly at the top, probably at the 10 o clock spot.

I had a variscele drained about 20 years ago and this is different.

The problem is that I have a renal condition so am shielding from covid - but am a bit concerned as this is bothering me.

Does anyone know if a blood test would sufficiently reduce my concerns if it came back ok?

In case it's relevant i'm 51 years old.

Hope someone can help - can't believe the timing!!

  • Welcome to the forum Pendragon1 although I'm sorry to read what's troubling you.

As it's playing on your mind it would be best to get a telephone consultation booked with your doctor so you can have a chat about this. To find out how to get the most out of your GP appointment just click here.

I hope this helps and the lump turns out to be no cause for concern.
