Lump during rectal exam

Hello,

Just wanted to ask for some advice really if anyone has been through similar?

Basically im 31 and i have had ibs for 16 years, so over time i got brilliant at managing it until a few months ago when things seemed to change..

My symptoms are im going to the toilet on the upwards of 10 times a day, alot of tummy cramps and a specific pain on the right side of my belly button and some incontinence, i noticed to start with that i was having fresh blood on the paper, assumed a cut or something and tried to forget about it. When i was speaking to my doctor about something else i had mentioned that i dont seem to be able to control my ibs anymore and she was fantastic and order some stool samples. These stool samples came back fine so she called me in 2 weeks ago for a feel off my stomach, bloods and rectal exam, assuming all would be fine. However, during the rectal exam she found a lump so refered me urgently to the GI for colonoscopy.

The GI replied it was most likely still infection and to do more stool samples and he'd do a telephone review with me. These stool samples also came back fine and no word from GI yet. But naturally ive been paying more attention to my stools and taking pictures, and ive noticed that in addition to the fresh red blood on the paper, ive also got alot of bloody dark like mucus in the stool and loads of black bits, hard to describe hence the photos for my doctor. So i had to go back in yesterday for my more bloods as i keep getting very faint, i assume from the blood loss or stomach pains. they said they cant say when he will be in touch but it was put through urgent so should be soon and having more bloods done meant its all updated for the GI.

Anyone experience similar regarding lump during exam etc or know how long i should expect to wait to speak to the GI? Im going out of my mind with worry. Xx
