Lump in cervix. Awaiting appointment for further investigati

Hi everyone

what does the pain feel like in your womb if you have cervical cancer? I had a baby 7 months ago (my sixth child) and my womb still feels sensitive to touch but I wouldn't call it pain. Could this be linked to the lump I have found on my cervix or from the baby I have had?

Also, do you have a scan and a biopsy at the first investigative appointment?

  • Hello TillyK
I'm sorry to hear that you've been having some issues with sensitivity around your cervix since the birth of your last child. It's good to hear that you have been referred for investigations for the lump and I'm sure that the Consultant will be able to give you some answers at your appointment.
I'm unsure what your appointment might consist of as things can vary from hospital to hospital but mostly likely the hospital will let you know if they intend to carry our any biopsy at your first appointment.

I hope that you dno't have to wait too long.

    Best wishes,
